The whistling on my 52 inch lightbar was nightmarish. Originally, I tried silicon glue to stop the harmonic vibration. Failed. Then I went to door edge trim. That worked... until it blew off in a Texas windstorm on my way to Utah. Result: deafening. Stopped and bought a roll of duct tape at a convenience store in the Texas panhandle. Completely covered the back of the light bar. Worked "okay." Finally I was able to get an Aerolidz. Completely solved the problem, and keeps bugs off the lightbar. Aerolidz is 100% the only way to go! Easy to install too. Easy to keep clean. Just works! The best, hands down!

I get a lot of compliments and questions about where I got my light bar cover. So much so that I'm considering putting a QR code on my driver's window so I can just tell people to scan it and get their own. We've had the cover for 3 years, and this is the second insert we've bought. The first one was still in good shape, but the new one ties in with our color scheme. These covers let you use your light bar in parades, shows, or just while driving around town. 10 out of 10, I absolutely recommend.

strong heavy duty. Helped tremendously with the rumbling noise. I didnt have the whistle most people talked about with my lightbar it was a loud rumble. I put the aerolidz on and BOOM the noise was to a bare minimum, almost gone. Thank you so much.

This cover is great !! Wind noise that I had is completely gone. Looks great also really enjoy being able to change out graphics with such ease also. A+++++++

If u have a one touch roof like we do. Angle the light bar. ( with the aerolids in place) slightly downwards this eliminates the vibration ( like a violin string) on your fabric. We did this and we now have no noise or vibration at all With the one touch roof even with the aero lids in place if u leave it in its normal position you will still have a ton of vibration due to the cloth on the one touch roof. If u make this slight adjustment downward you’ll realize that the aero lids really does a good job directing the airflow. Very happy ) Dan and Amy. Western Massachusetts

quieted the wind noise from having the light bar across the wind shield tremendously. Pleasantly surprised at how well it works.....
Easy to put on and definitely cuts the road noise. A little pricey but worth it!

I was just about to give up on the light cover ever being manufactured again. It had been 2 years since i purchased the incorrect single row cover. I tried to exchange for double row when I found out they were out of stock and not sure when they would be available. The cover and insert finally completed my Christmas gift to my wife from '23. She is so excite to have the cover on finally. Cutting and fitting to the correct size is very easy.
I already had an old AeroLidz on there th at was very cloudy replaced it.This one is so much quieter, love the blackout on the top and bottom.Now you can see my insert.It's wonderful

So the noise level of my light bar was way to much to handle, I was on the hunt to try and fix this. I regular cover was not cutting it. I found this and was debating it because honestly due to the cost, it cost more than the light bar but the difference it made....night and day! I literally could not carry on a conversation with my husband in my jeep without this on, now its like I don't even have a light bar on.....for anyone who has a light bar, get it, it might be pricy but worth it! My only concern is I hope it holds up in the winter and colder elements, we shall see as winter is just starting here in VA.
Makes a world of difference in the “sounds” that come with a lightbar :) I wish I could get some inserts for it though!

I have been planning on modifying the flat surface of the light bar for some time now via plexiglass or other similar materials until I came upon your product. I bought it, made minor modifications to it to fit my lightbar and to work with the air dam I have built for the light bar. Noise and airflow over the cab and rack were of concern to me. The combination of the Aerolid, the lightbar air dam, and the airfoil on the roof rack have taken care of any noise issues I had, and have even increased my gas mileage noticeably. I love how well it works, and it looks good too.
LIGHT BAR COVER QUESTIONS
How do we clean the AeroLidz cover?
Soap and water, Plastic cleaner, Plastic polish, ceramic coating are all good sources. To clean the inside you can roll up a hand towel and slide in side. Use a broom stick to push the length of the AeroLidz.
Is it safe to take cover into carwash?
Yes we have tested it on our own vehicles without a problem. The cover must be securely fastened to the right size light bar shown in our how to section. If your cover moves around easily you need to secure it with a zip tie or a Velcro strap before entering. You can always ask the car wash attendant to turn off the beater bar above.
Does a triple row LED bar fit your covers?
Yes they fit the Dual row covers as long as the back of them measure 3.5" front to back. The shape will be either square or a long bullet shape. SEE our installation pics for sizing.
Does the straight light bar cover fit a curved light bar?
No it does not. We are working to find a good solution, stay in touch or follow our social media for announcements!
GRAPHIC INSERTS QUESTIONS
How do I clean the inserts?
Very gently wipe with soap and water. DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICALS
How do you eliminate the glare into the cab when using an insert?
It is very easy to fix this if it bothers you. Tape off the face with painters tape 3/4″ before the front ribs. Then paint the rest with Satin black spray paint. You can also watch this video on Youtube.
Remote control is not working?
Check to make sure there is a battery in it. If not install a 2030 watch battery.
